Changes for the 2020 Volvo S90

For the current year of the 2020 Volvo S90, the base T5 engine has been removed and a new top-level R Design is added to the trims. Now standard is leather upholstery, parking sensors for the front and rear cross-traffic alert. The standard engine is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that starts at 250 horsepower.

Watching Out for You

City Safety in the 2020 Volvo S90 relies on radar and camera tech to monitor other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and large animals. If a collision with any of these is imminent, you receive an alert and if you do not react in time, the brakes are applied to prevent an accident. Off-Road Mitigation prevents road departures by adjusting steering.

Luxurious Trims

The first of the 2020 Volvo S90 trims is the Momentum, which includes a nine-inch center touchscreen display and voice control. The Inscription surrounds you with North American walnut and leather upholstery. At the highest level, the R-Design includes Nappa leather and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
